“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:
The old has gone, the new is here!”
(2 Corinthians 5:17, NIV)
When Worship Turns into Tears of Joy
It happened on a Sunday.
We were singing about the precious blood of Jesus Christ during worship, and suddenly, a deep joy rose up inside of me. Tears of gratitude began to pour down.
I was so overwhelmed with joy that warm tears kept running down my cheeks.
My soul was moved by the truth that through His precious blood, I had received such a great salvation. My heart could not help but sing.
Wanting to Paint What Words Cannot Contain
When I came home, I wanted to somehow capture that gratitude, that awe, that deep, almost indescribable emotion.
I longed to express it—the beauty of His blood, the greatness of His salvation, the thankful joy that filled my heart.
So I tried to paint it.
But as always, I felt that my art was still too small, too weak to fully hold that joy, that wonder, that gratitude.
Even so, through this painting, I hope that the message will still reach someone’s heart—the message that the blood of Jesus Christ has given us life and brought us a salvation beyond imagination.
From a Trampled Seed to a Living Flower
I was like a dead seed, buried in the dirt where people walked, hidden in the ground as if there were no life in me at all.
That was who I was.
But Jesus came to me. He drew near, and with the blood He shed, He gave me a new life.
Because of that, I have bloomed from the blood of Christ—like a flower.
Now I am on a journey of becoming a beautiful flower born from His life.
I may not yet be complete or fully grown in beauty,
but I believe I will bloom into a beautiful flower.
Learning to Live as God’s Beloved New Creation
I hope my Christian friends will remember this truth and give thanks for it each day.
I hope we will rejoice over the great salvation we have received.
I hope we will truly come to know by what grace we have been made children of God,
and how precious, how deeply loved we are in His eyes.
We are new creations in Christ.
We are the ones He is lovingly shaping and forming—His beautiful people, being molded day by day by His grace.
